ABOUT THE BLUEINVEST PLATFORM

It also provides a market path for innovation-led projects and initiatives through technical assistance, visibility, network- and opportunity-building. Furthermore, it connects innovation, investment, and impact by supporting technologies that address environmental, social and climate change challenges, and those that impact on greening maritime-based industries.
BLUEINVEST READINESS ASSISTANCE
It is an exclusive coaching program for high potential start-ups and SMEs with innovative and sustainable products and solutions for the Blue Economy. Businesses and projects selected for Investment Readiness Assistance receive coaching packages tailored specifically to their readiness levels and business objectives. The program is impact-driven, providing business support to help startups and SMEs build capacities for growth and attract investment.
OUR EXPERIENCE OF THE PROGRAM
After being assigned the coach, we agreed on a coaching plan and deliverables specifically tailored for SeaCras needs. We spent many, many hours of reading and researching about all aspects of business development while being continuously pushed by our coach. All this led to the better vision of what SeaCras is and where it is going. Overall, we learned a lot and found the experience of BlueInvest Readiness Assistance program invaluable. If you are in position to apply, we strongly recommend it.
SEACRAS IS FINALIST FOR BLUEINVEST AWARDS 2022
It was a delight to receive a notice that SeaCras has been selected as a finalist for the BlueInvest Awards 2022 in the category “Ocean Observation”. The BlueInvest Awards features the EU’s most promising and innovative businesses in the blue economy, particularly those with technologies that could accelerate green and digital transition. 2022 marks the third edition of the BlueInvest Awards. 16 finalists over four categories have been selected by an independent panel based on their investment readiness, market potential and relevance to the EU Green Deal principles. As a finalist, we are invited to come to Brussels to participate in the BlueInvest Day on Monday, 28 March 2022. We will pitch to a panel of interested investors, who will act as jury for our category. So, our next step is to go to Brussels to secure finance for our aquatic monitoring solution based on satellite imagery.
